Community Rules

Combined Gaming is very proud to be an Adult community.

It certainly doesn't mean you have to be over 18 to play here however you will find a lot of our members are. We respect the younger people and elders in our community and no discrimination will be tolerated.

We expect people to show respect, act like an adult, and treat people how you would expect to be treated to keep this a place that people enjoy and look forward to coming back to. If there is a disagreement then disagree in a noble and adult manner. At the end of the day we are here to have fun and enjoy one of the best role play experiences you will find on the internet.

If you are here for drama or arguments then it won't be long until you will be shown the door and it is extremely rare to be unbanned for the following important rules.

(1.1) Bullying is punished by a permanent ban with appeal.

(1.2) Discrimination of any kind is punished by a permanent ban without appeal.

(1.3) Swearing at someone outside of roleplay is not tolerated and will be punished by a ban.

(1.4) Any threat to any person, or the community, will not be tolerated and a permanent ban will be issued.

(1.5) Any attempts to harm or otherwise disrupt our infrastructure will not be tolerated. We take attacks and threats to attack seriously. We will work with the police and other law enforcement authorities and supply any evidence necessary to lead to a conviction.

(1.6) The Staff Team may ban any member from the servers and community at any time if they are considered disruptive to the community or we have a valid reason to believe they are here to cause issues.

(1.7) As a roleplay game every situation is different and not everything can be detailed within these rules and so it is important to remember this is an adult community and some things simply come down to common sense. Things like the following; do not swear at people (out of roleplay), troll people, or bully people otherwise you will simply be banned from our servers.

NewLife Rule

A new life means that your character has lost all previous memories. It still is the character you play, example: You are still apart of the rebels or cops and you still knows all your friends.

Your character forgets the events and information leading up to their death.

Wanted/Bounty prices are persistent over deaths to enable long winded police chases and bounty hunter chases and without this we wouldn’t have police and bounty hunters tracking down the person with them being on the run for weeks/days. Example: Matt, John and Ben are rebels who try to rob the bank.

During the shootout with the cops, Matt and Ben die, John get's arrested and spends some time in jail. When they all meet again, they all would roleplay the situation in a way that they all tried to get away, because they realized that they couldn't handle the situation. Matt and Ben got away, though John got caught. If the players want to have the deaths involved, they might tell stories of other rebels that died there, who were with them initially.

(2.1) A new life starts, when:

  • Your character has been killed by a cop.
  • Your character has died in a RP situation.
  • Your character has been involved in an accident.
  • (2.2) A new life does not start when:

  • Your character has been the victim of a clearcut case of VDM
  • Your character has been the victim of a clearcut case of RDM
  • You disconnect (end of session)
  • (2.3) When you respawn:

  • Your character does not remember any previous roleplay situations.
  • Your character does not remember where any of its vehicles outside the garage are
  • Your character does not remember any previous enemies (your killer/robber etc)
  • Your character cannot return within 100m of the location of death until the 15 minute NLR timer has expired.
  • Your character does remember their friends & gang members.
  • Advertising

    Unfortunately, other Roleplay & roleplay servers (or people with community websites) have abused the fact we are popular. They have advertised on our website/teamspeak/servers in the past for their own gains. Because of this we have strict rules around it.

    (3.1) Advertising - Advertising any of the following services* on our servers/website/teamspeak or social media groups without permission is bannable without appeal.

    • Teamspeak
    • Game Servers
    • Social Media Groups
    • Websites\Other Communities
    • *It is to the discretion of the staff member who looks at your situation as to what we consider advertising. We advise caution when sharing any ip addresses or such through any of our services.

    Teamspeak & Discord

    Combined Gaming is proud to host a teamspeak. For this to remain a nice place to hangout, we have some rules for our teamspeak server.

    (4.1) Common sense - This is an adult community and a lot of the rules come down to common sense, do not swear at people, troll people, bully people otherwise you will simply be banned from teamspeak.

    (4.2) Voice changers & soundboards - It has come to a point where using voice changers or soundboards on our teamspeak has got very old, If you are found using soundboards or voice changers in public rooms including VIP,DONATORS you will be warned, kicked or banned.

    (4.3) Music is only permitted in music rooms or private gang channels. Anyone caught playing music in public rooms will be warned, kicked or banned.

    (4.4) Offensive avatars or avatars of a questionable nature should not be used, you will be warned, kicked or banned depending on the avatar.

    (4.5) Imitation - Impersonating other members such as changing your name is punishable by a ban.

    Forums

    Combined Gaming has a very active forum, therefore we have very strict rules to keep it a place people want to visit daily.

    (5.1) Common sense - This is an adult community and a lot of the rules come down to common sense, do not swear at people, troll people, bully people otherwise you will simply be banned from the forums.

    (5.2) Using a questionable avatar or name could result in a community ban.

    (5.3) Creating threads with the intention to cause issues or drama will not be tolerated and may lead to warning points or being issued a ban.

    (5.4) Commenting on a ban appeal or report a player thread that is not involving you will lead to a warning point and a 7 day posting restriction.

    (5.5) Using status updates to talk about or discuss bans will first lead to a warning point then if that continues a second warning point with a 7 day posting restriction.

    Staff team

    Combined Gaming.net has a very highly trusted staff team who give up a lot of their time to make the servers enjoyable and continue to provide the best roleplay experience you will find. They are not here to be abused or sworn at. Here are some rules connected to the staff team.

    (6.1) Any decision the staff team make is final.

    (6.2) Abuse/swearing or unpleasant behaviour towards the staff team is not acceptable (Punishment is a community ban without appeal)

    (6.3) When ingame, staff will have their special ‘AdminOnDuty’job when they are on official duty only. Please ignore that they are there unless they ask you a question.

    (6.4) Please refrain from messaging staff members via private message/comments or adding their personal social media/steam accounts unless they invite you to do so.

    (6.5) The staff team are only available on teamspeak if there is an issue with teamspeak or there is a hacker on the server, they should not be contacted for anything else. We also make the rules for our staff team public. Our staff team are highly trusted, It is one of the hardest positions to get within the community and they are aware of the following rules.

    (6.6) Any abuse of a staff position in any shape or form will lead to removal and possibly a ban.

    (6.7) Staff may not teleport, spawn in items/money in order to help a player in any shape or form. (Unless there is a good reason).

    (6.8) Staff will not take payment or accept any sort of bribe from anyone, this will lead to the staff member being removed and/or community banned, and the person offering the bribe to also be banned.

    (6.9) Staff will not discuss internal goings on behind the scenes with anyone from outside of the team. This includes any future updates or decisions made by the team, this will result in removal from the staff team and may lead to a community ban. (Please note, this does not apply to the developers and other content creators, as they may need to request something from a member).

    (6.10) All rules apply to all staff members, apart from in extreme circumstances where an override is needed. (A member of the management team will handle a situation where you feel a staff member abused the ability to make themselves exempt).
